Founded in 2013 by Anna Maxwell, a self-care visionary and CEO, Maxwellia is on a mission to widen access to medicines and transform the way people manage their health.
At Maxwellia, we specialise in medicine reclassification, also known as ‘switching’, a rigorous regulatory process that makes certain medicines, previously available only on prescription, accessible to buy over the counter in pharmacies and online. This helps people take greater control of their own health through self-care.
With the launch of Naprosyn® Pain Relief, Maxwellia is expanding consumer choice in short-term pain relief medicine. By making this effective over-the-counter pain relief option available without prescription, we are helping to give people more convenient ways to manage pain effectively.
We’re proud to have also launched four innovative women’s health brands across the contraception and period care categories.
